The swimsuit I picked is pictured above. I’ll be honest: I haven’t willingly worn a swimsuit in public for years. Pregnancy and the years after left me with a different body shape, and I struggled to find suits that felt both flattering and modest. For a long time I resorted to shapeless swimsuits or cut-offs and a t-shirt. Not exactly confidence-inspiring.

It held in my stomach where needed, provided coverage in the right places, and gave me a flattering, classic silhouette. More important than the support or cut was how I felt wearing it: pretty. The suit has a vintage Hollywood vibe I love, and it has held up well to regular lap swimming at my local pool.

They’re cute, functional, and breathable. After a Pilates class I even ran into a store feeling presentable and comfortable—sweaty but confident.
