I don’t usually host straight giveaways, but this one was too good to pass up. The team at Fannie May Berries sent me a box of their chocolate-covered strawberries to try, and they generously offered to send a box to two readers if I liked them. I sampled a box and was delighted enough to pass the treat on to you.
Fannie May offers a tempting variety of flavors—Sea Salt Milk Chocolate Caramel, Pink & White Champagne, Toasted Coconut & White Chocolate (Trinidad©), Milk Chocolate Caramel & Nuts (Pixies©), and seasonal choices such as Dark Chocolate Gingerbread, Candy Cane, and Eggnog. For this box I chose the Sea Salt Milk Chocolate Caramel, although I admit I secretly wanted one of every flavor. Still, I restrained myself and savored what I received.
I received the box yesterday and opened it right away. The presentation was lovely, but the real surprise was the size of the strawberries. These are huge—juicy, perfectly coated, and clearly made to enjoy in the moment. They arrived in excellent condition and tasted fresh and indulgent. When ordered through the Fannie May site, they can typically be delivered within twenty-four hours, which makes them a wonderful last-minute gift or special holiday treat for someone lucky enough to receive them.
The berries were full of juice and flavor. Each bite combined the sweetness of ripe strawberry with the rich, smooth chocolate and a hint of caramel and sea salt. Size aside, the quality is what stood out: ripe fruit, crisp chocolate shell, and a satisfying balance of flavors. If you want an impressive, delicious gift, these are hard to beat.
