Cheddar Lover’s Popcorn Snack Mix Recipe for Cheese Fans

I’d like to thank Annie’s Homegrown for sponsoring the creation of the Ultimate Cheddar Lover’s Popcorn Snack Mix and for making such feel-good products. My kids and I adore this cheddar-packed snack mix and we hope you will too!

I’m essentially feeding a small Viking horde multiple times a day—three meals plus snacks—so having wholesome, craveable options on hand is essential. Since we homeschool, our back-to-school routine looks a bit different: book work in the morning, hands-on projects in the afternoon, more library trips, and plenty of brain food available throughout the day. I’ve learned that kids learn better when hunger isn’t a distraction, so I keep snacks accessible during school hours and afterward. I want to feel good about what my kids are nibbling, and this mix fits the bill.

The Ultimate Cheddar Lover's Popcorn Snack Mix is full of cheddar popcorn, two kinds of cheddar crackers, cheddar puffs, and boxed cheddar snack mix. This is sure to banish those after-school snack attacks with style!

I love browsing Target’s grocery aisles and grabbing every cheddar snack I can find. My usual haul includes Annie’s White Cheddar Popcorn, Bunny Tail Puffs, Cheddar Bunnies (both classic and white cheddar varieties), and their boxed Cheddar Snack Mix. I appreciate that Annie’s uses real cheese, and my kids love the bold cheddar flavor. Each product is great on its own, but combined in a big mixing bowl the mix becomes something even better—the whole is truly greater than the sum of its parts.

My crew can easily demolish a bowl of this Ultimate Cheddar Lover’s Popcorn Snack Mix, but its real value goes beyond immediate snacking. You can portion the mix into grab-and-go containers for lunches and after-school snacks throughout the week, or store it in an airtight canister so it’s ready when kids and friends get hungry.

Through August, Target is partnering with Annie’s for special Cartwheel offers and in-store demos, making it easier to save on favorite Annie’s products. Our family can’t decide between the classic Cheddar Bunnies and the new Bunny Tails—both are fun to munch, and Bunny Tails are a great gluten-free sharing option for friends and family.
