I’m completely hooked on cruising. What other vacation lets you explore new places while enjoying excellent service, varied dining, and nonstop entertainment? My husband and I wondered before our Carnival Sunshine voyage last fall whether seven days would feel too long. By the end we were astonished at how quickly the time passed and how much we enjoyed every moment. The cruise was a wonderful experience from embarkation to the final sunset, and we couldn’t wait to sail again.

This time it was a six-day Western Caribbean itinerary visiting Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel — perfect for escaping a January chill. My husband had to work, so my friend Meseidy joined me for the warm-weather getaway. Friendly company, turquoise water, and sunshine made it a memorable trip.
