Honey Mustard Pulled Pork Sliders Recipe for Parties
Can you think of a better crowd-pleaser for Memorial Day than a giant platter of Honey Mustard Pulled Pork Sliders on pretzel buns? I can’t!
Tender, juicy, tangy, sweet, with a touch of heat—honey mustard pulled pork piled on a pretzel roll with crisp spring lettuce and thinly sliced sweet onions. These sliders are an effortless and delicious way to kick off the unofficial start of summer.
This Memorial Day weekend I plan to do absolutely nothing—just relax in a hammock with iced tea and let the kids entertain themselves (within reason). Good times and low stress are the goal, and that includes easy, make-ahead food. Honey Mustard Pulled Pork Sliders fit the bill perfectly: minimal effort, big flavor, and ideal for serving a crowd on paper plates so you can maximize lounging time.

Whether you’re hosting a party or enjoying a relaxed holiday, these sliders are a winner. The pulled pork can be made ahead (I heat it gently so it’s warm but not piping hot), then assembled on small pretzel rolls with fresh greens, thinly sliced Vidalia or sweet onions, and a drizzle of honey mustard. Add candied jalapeños if you want a little extra kick.
Cook’s Notes
- These sliders are extremely simple to assemble. Soft pretzel rolls are ideal, but you can use King’s Hawaiian dinner rolls or any small, tender rolls.
- Use your favorite honey mustard—homemade or store-bought. Choose what tastes best to you.
- If onions aren’t your thing, omit them, but the crunch of thinly sliced sweet onions adds nice texture and balance.
- For extra flavor, add a few candied jalapeños to each slider.

Jalapeno Honey Mustard Pulled Pork Sliders

- tender young lettuce such as mixed spring greens
- 3–5 cups Slow Cooker Honey Mustard Pulled Pork heated until just warm
- thinly sliced Vidalia or sweet onions
- Honey mustard for drizzling
- Optional: candied jalapeños
Instructions
- Slice the pretzel rolls open. On the bottom half of each roll, layer a little lettuce, add a portion of warm honey mustard pulled pork, top with thinly sliced Vidalia onions, and drizzle with honey mustard. If using, add a few candied jalapeños, then place the top half of the roll on the sandwich. Serve immediately.
