Dips are my passion. I’ve eaten dinners composed entirely of dips and dippables more times than I can count. I especially love hummus and whipped feta. Hummus is a staple for me because it’s delicious and nutritious — a win-win. To celebrate an upcoming football game and my partnership as a Sabra Tastemaker, I combined my favorite Sabra Roasted Garlic hummus with whipped feta to make Whipped Roasted Garlic Feta Hummus: a richly flavored, deeply satisfying dip that checks all the boxes.

This recipe is incredibly simple. Sabra’s silky Roasted Garlic hummus does a lot of the heavy lifting, adding fragrant garlic flavor and smooth texture that blends perfectly with tangy whipped feta.
If Sabra Roasted Garlic hummus isn’t available in your store, regular hummus plus a bit of homemade roasted garlic is an excellent substitute.
The result is pure comfort — the savory equivalent of mixing two favorite treats together and finding they’re even better combined. The airy whipped feta meets the smooth, garlicky hummus in a way that’s impossible not to savor. I actually woke up thinking about it the next day and had to wait until lunch so I wouldn’t be completely indulgent.
I also realized a smear of this hummus would be amazing on toast topped with a fried egg, so I’m saving a little to try that tomorrow. Honestly, I could probably live on this stuff.

Cook’s Notes
- Start with a block of feta if you can. Freshly crumbled block feta has a better texture than most pre-crumbled varieties. If pre-crumbled is all you can find, the dip will still be delicious.
- The recipe provides a range for the feta amount because preferences vary. Use the lower amount if you’re less enthusiastic about feta; use the higher amount if you love it like I do.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Pin Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 to 6 ounces feta, crumbled
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 container (10 ounces) hummus
- 8 cloves roasted garlic
Instructions
-
Add the crumbled feta to a food processor fitted with a metal blade. Pulse until the feta is broken into fine crumbs, scraping down the sides as needed. Add the softened cream cheese and process for about 3 minutes, stopping occasionally to scrape the bowl. Finally add the hummus and roasted garlic and process until the mixture is silky and uniform, about 1–2 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve warm straight from the processor for a softer dip, or chill for a thicker spread.
