There’s a good chance this Honey Sriracha Glazed Chicken Bites recipe will become your kids’ new favorite party snack. These sticky, sweet-heat chicken bites are as delicious as they look and simple to make.

Made from everyday ingredients and ready in about 20 minutes, this dish relies on a quick four-ingredient glaze—honey, sriracha, soy sauce, and garlic—brightened with ginger. The glaze comes together in a measuring cup, then is poured over browned cubes of boneless, skinless chicken breast. In moments the sauce boils, reduces, and becomes glossy and mahogany-colored, coating each bite in a flavorful sticky glaze.
These chicken bites work well as a high-protein after-school snack, a party appetizer, or a light dinner served over rice with a side of roasted vegetables. They’re easy enough for busy weeknights but impressive enough for guests. I had to keep my own crowd at bay while photographing them—once served, the bowl was cleaned out fast.

The moment I gave permission to dig in, my family hovered and then devoured them. Even the cucumber slices got dragged around the bowl to capture every bit of glaze.

Cook’s Notes
- Have everything prepped before you start: whisk the glaze and cut the chicken into uniform 1/2-inch cubes so everything finishes at the same time.
- A 10- or 12-inch non-stick skillet with sloped sides is ideal for this recipe. The glaze is sticky, and non-stick helps keep more sauce on the chicken and not the pan.
- Don’t overcook the chicken before adding the glaze. If the pieces are cut evenly, about 7 minutes over medium-high heat will make them opaque and nearly cooked through; they will finish cooking when you toss them in the glaze.
- Once the glaze is thick, shiny, and darkened, immediately remove the chicken from the pan. Residual heat can burn the glaze quickly.
- Garnish with minced chives for color and freshness. Parsley or cilantro also work if you prefer.

Honey Sriracha Glazed Chicken Bites
Rebecca Lindamood
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mild honey
- 2 tablespoons sriracha
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 garlic clove minced or pressed
- 1/2 inch fresh ginger root or 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger, grated
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- olive oil spray
- minced chives
Instructions
- Whisk together the honey, sriracha, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Set the glaze aside.
- Cut each chicken breast into 1/2-inch strips, then rotate and cut crosswise into 1/2-inch cubes for even cooking.
- Heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat and lightly spray with olive oil. Add the chicken in a single layer and don’t stir for 30 seconds to allow browning. Stir-fry until the chicken is opaque throughout, about 7 minutes.
- Pour the prepared glaze over the chicken and raise the heat to high. Toss the chicken in the sauce and continue cooking, tossing, until the glaze is bubbly, thick, and darkened, about 3 minutes. Transfer the sticky chicken bites to a serving bowl and garnish with minced chives.
